Sailed on the Infinity from Fort Lauderdale, through the Panama Canal to San Francisco, April 13-28/08, calling at Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica and 3 stops in Mexico. Once again, Infinity didn't let us down and we had a fabulous trip. The food and service on this ship are superior to other ships and lines we have sailed on. In particular, the attitude of the staff is excellent - both friendly and professional. The dining room and stateroom staff could not have been nicer (bravo to Pacheco and Esther!). The activities staff were full of enthusiasm and we very much enjoyed the programs. We sailed on this ship last July and must say that we thought the "production numbers" were slightly better on that trip, but that could be because this dance troupe had been on for months and were probably getting a bit tired! A new troupe was starting when we got off. The organization is always excellent, viz. shore excursions, etc. When we came back on board in Cabo San Lucas, we noticed that 2 other ships were in port. The Carnaval ship and the NCL ship gave their returning passengers nothing at the dockside. The Infinity had its usual ice cold cloths, fruit juice and water available. The difference at the dockside was really noticeable and we saw people on the other cruise lines looking at our superior treatment!!

We agree with most of your comments but as 'owen' says we did not notice any tired dancers either, we thought they were excellent. We also agree that the ships shore excursions were not good value and we found them very overpriced for what the consisted of. We had a different experience in Cabo when waiting for the tender...it was boiling hot, the queue was a mile long so not everyone was under shade. The other ship...NCL was departing at same time and had no queues for tender, passengers walked aboard. We had to wait ages for the cold cloths and drinks. We were lucky though, we were invited to the Captains FREE Cocktail Party, it was great. By the way... how do you manage a FREE upgrade? We've never been offered but we're usually in the 'cheap cabins'!

We agee with most of the comments made but did not notice any tired dancers. Some of the shore excursions were not very good value for money with too much emphasis on taking you to shopping areas. More time should be given to showing you the local sites of interest. We were also disappointed that with the formal nights. No cocktails with the Captain or gatherings in one of the lounges. we wondered why we had bothered to dress up
