We where late into Rome because flight from Prague was delayed to bad weather . We didn't leave Edinburgh Airport till 8am instead of 6am. So once we got onto the coach we were rushed to the ship, we had just time to grab our life jackets for the safety drill, so we mist our welcome onboard champagne. The self service restaurant wasnt very good I was living on toast and bread rolls, my partner liked their fresh omelets. The Oasis Restaurant food was quite good. The entertainment they had was good but not enough 10 night cruise 3 shows in main theatre not much. The filipino band was very good in the Savoy Club, the piano lady singer was very good in the Grand Foyer. the weather in the med was mixed. We new Rhodes wouldn't let us down beautiful day, shopped for some bargains. We couldn't get into Naples because of 35ft waves as the ship had to slow down 7nots. So we headed to Rome and spent the night on the ship. I suffer from MS we left my wheel chair outside our cabin for 10mins so my partner could change for the gym we came out and it was gone , my cushion was left on the handrail. nobody seemed that much bothered if I got it back or not, I was stuck in my cabin all day until finally someone came with one of there own wheelchairs so I could go for my dinner. We were put of the ship 9am we arrived at Rome airport 10 15am our flight was supposed be 6 25pm it was late we didn't leave until 8 30pm, we chainged again at Frankfurt didn't get home UK till 1 30am. When we booked the holiday they said they would try get us straight through flights because of my MS. not our best cruise we expected more.

I was on the same cruise and though I can't comment, obviously, on this passenger's feelings about the flights, etc, I wonder what he wanted to eat at breakfast that made him subsist on bread and toast? The self-service buffet offered a full range of hot food (with specials every day), fruits, cereals, omelettes, waffles and pancakes cooked to order, meats, fish and cheeses, pastries and so on. And there's always the Orion restaurant for formal breakfast! I do agree about Charlotte Louisy, of the activities staff, however - she is a gem.
