We returned from Scandinavia and Russia with Celebrity on Constellation, on 30th August. We had a Concierge Class cabin and it was well worth the small extra charge, over and above a balcony cabin. The champagne, canapes, daily fresh fruit etc were very welcome and our cabin steward, Rowell, was the best we had ever had on a cruise. The cabin was reasonably spacious too. We enjoyed the itinerary, apart from Lithuania, which we found dreary. The excursions we did in St Petersburg were impressive, though very expensive, which meant we didn't do many other city trips except perhaps using the shuttle buses. We did think it was a shame one had to pay for the shuttles, as many cruise lines provide them free.
Food was good in the dining rooms and buffet, but we also ate once in Ocean Liners, which was superb.
Entertainment could have been better for a ship of this class and it was a shame that the Celebrity production team only did three shows during the two week cruise.
The whole crew were extremely friendly and helpful and although this was our first cruise with Celebrity, we will certainly cruise with them again.
