In two weeks time we are heading off on our second cruise... the first experience was so good. In September 2005 we did a Baltic Cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary. My husband was totally anti the initial proposal to do a cruise but the destinations coaxed him into joining me !! He thought the experience would be "snobbish", "peopled by posers " , "boring americans" (far from it) and being told what to wear and when to eat . We travelled with Celebrity Cruises on the Constellation ..... He still talks about it... best holiday , great food , effortless way to see places, multiple choice of entertainment, amazing service and such an array of people from all walks of life ... some great dinner companions. Excursions were thoughtful but what I really was impressed by was that there was no "hard sell" and if you wanted to do your own thing ... great you could. We are going on a med cruise this time for 7 days .... and next year, well Im planning a cruise from Boston.

If you are cruising on Constellation again, I will be very interested to read your post cruise comments and to know what you think of the ship three years down the line. We have just taken a Baltic cruise on Constellation and have very mixed views about which I shall write in the near future. Have a wonderful time!
