Q: We are cruising the Med on the Galaxy in Aug. Last time we cruised with Celebrity my son was 10 and attended formal evenings in a smart shirt (no tie or jacket), we of course wore formal attire. This year our son will be 12. I am not keen (and neither is he) to look stiff, he is still a child. We love to dress up, as does our 18 year old. Has anyone come accross any issues with children being turned away from formal dining with Celebrity?

I did witness 2 males turned away on Formal Nights last year on Galaxy, but this is becoming less common if you read the reviews on sites like this. Most complaints come from people who see Celebrity NOT enforcing the dress code & I have never read, or seen anything about children being turned away. I wouldn't worry about it. Regards
